Pline Browse and Capture enhances data extraction with the Adaptive Selector, delivering precise results even when webpage structures change or data fields are missing. Adjust data fields quickly in Browse and Capture mode to improve flexibility and ensure seamless extraction, even in dynamic environments.

Get Started with Adaptive Selectors

Follow these steps to use Adaptive Selectors in your workflows effectively:

Step 1: Create and Run a Browse and Capture Workflow

  • Begin by creating a Browse and Capture workflow and selecting your desired dataset.

  • Click 'Use Workflow' to initiate the extraction process

Adaptive Selectors are compatible only with Browse and Capture workflows with the Page Type 'Detailed View.'

Step 2: Edit Selectors

  • In the Data Preview section of Pline, locate the Action Tab and click the edit icon next to the relevant entry where data is missing or incorrect.

  • Select 'Edit Selection' to update the data fields.

Step 3: Update Workflow

  • Once you’ve edited the selectors, tag the relevant data fields and click 'Update Workflow'.

  • The new data will appear under the relevant tab in the Data Preview section. Click 'Approve' to finalize the update and proceed with your workflow.
